Legal Secretary - Bermuda
General functions will include:
Performing a range of secretarial functions including typing, inputting of time, filing and transcription;
Preparing draft letters, memos and other correspondence, as well as editing and proofreading legal documentation;
Scheduling and coordinating meetings;
Maintaining electronic and manual files, databases and calendars;
Monitoring project deadlines and ensuring work is completed to meet deadlines;
Interacting with clients in person, over the telephone and via email;
Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in an executive secretarial or legal secretarial role within a law firm or legal department;
A recognized secretarial or legal diploma;
Excellent computer in Word & other legal software programs;
Ability to type at 60 wpm;
Dictaphone typing;
Superior verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and be willing to work overtime if required;
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;

Note:
Current opportunities are for a six-month period of time, offering the possibility of longer term (2 year renewable contracts, upon completion of the initial six-month contract)
